Corsair K70 PRO TKL Offers 8K Polling And Hall Effect Keys

Hall All The Keys, Not Just WASD

The Corsair K70 PRO TKL uses their FlashTap technology, also called Snap Tap, which is properly known as Hall Effect switches.  If it’s been a while since you heard the term, it indicates the switches on the keys use magnets to detect when they are pressed.  It offers not only a faster response than traditional mechanical keys, you can use Corsair’s iCUE software suite to modify the keyboards actuation point.  If you want it to trigger the moment you touch the key or to require a certain amount of travel before registering the keypress you can do that with the K70 PRO TKL.

The switches are paired with a maximum polling rate of 8,000 Hz so you can reduce input lag significantly if you have a system that can handle it.  TweakTown really liked the funky translucent circular Game Mode button.  With one press you can disable the system keys, crank the polling rate to maximum, enable Rapid Trigger on all common FPS or MOBA keys and applies a static glow to the K70 PRO TKL as well.
